This book was actually really good. It's completely surprised with the storyline and I think is intact very unique. I think it's one of these books that only comes around every couple of years but when they do they are extremely good and I think this one could go very far! I have high hope for Crave. Now Crave is a fantastic book that will keep you enthralled and up to the dead of night, unable to put the book down. IT was thrilling tale of a Forbidden love that hasn't been done before and I loved it!
I have to admit, I had a tad of trouble getting into the book, but once I was in I could not get out The follows Savannah (but we'll call her Sav, cause it's a pain to type out! I don't how Darnell did it) and she is in school and experiences some changes only to find out she is a Dhampir, but one that shouldn't be able to exist. Half Vampire and Half Descendant (witch). Forbidden to love a boy, she falls in love with him... and so the battle begins.
The plot is actually really well thought out an although the book sis a rather hefty 500 odd pages I didn't feel that long as it was exciting, fast paced and I seemed to whizz through it! The plot was obviously thoroughly outlined and the amount of thought that went into is clear as well as the effort. It was such a unique and beautiful plot and just so effortless to read. Gorgeous.
The writing was almost lyrical. It was just so perfect to read. There was the exact correct balance of description and dialogue that blended perfectly together t create this very real, vivid, image in your mind and it moved at just the right pace. The prose was perfect, thought. Not a fault I could see, and was a pleasure to read.
There wasn't too many character which was nice. I always hate a book where there is so many characters you can't keep track on them all. This was nice because you were introduced the characters easel and slowly so they acme a part of the book and became your friends. You felt very close tot hem and shared the same love hate emotions as them , for instance when Dylan pooped in the book you just wanted to rip him shreds, burn them on a barbecue and feed him to the ducks. (though you'd probably get arrested... especially for the ducks)
Overall is was gorgeous book and a fantastic read. The pleasure was all mine in the and I would recommend it a million times! yes yes yes! LOVE IT!

This is definitely the way to Finish a series. I can most honestly say I adored this book to the most. I have loved this series from the beginning, as it is such a magical and different unique story and this is the way to send Zara and her friends off. The book had absolutely you want in a final book packed into it! It was filled with action, love, twists, turn and magic. It kept you glued to the pages till the very end. This book played of your need for a captivating book and enticed you completely.
The Book is easy to pick up from the events of Entice and follow on nicely. I felt that this book really exposed the characters for what they were. There was no hiding, and I felt that in this book everyone's true colours were shown. This book followed Zara in her quest to stop the end of the world and free Loki.
The plot was relatively easy to follow but at some points it slightly confused me, as the characters were confused themselves, but it was good in a way, because a couple of chapters downy he line you would read something that pieced all together and you'd be like ohhh! thinking that you were really clever and that you worked it out. The plot has definitely had so much time and effort poured into it and it really makes you so sad that the series has come to and end, although it does have a happy ever after: ;)
Carrie Jones's writing it one of my favourites. I always find it a pleasure to read her work as I always find it so whimsical and musical. The decryption always seems to flow like a stream in your mind creating this vivid picture of everything that is happening and the thoughts and emotions that are reeling through the minds of characters. This book didn't disappoint. It kept up to the standard of the writing and was a gorgeous book to read.
The characters just seem to grow and grow. In this one their true colours started to show and you got a grip of their emotions so much better. They just seemed to grow stronger and just grow up generally. I think the fact that there isn't to many characters involved and it has stayed that way from book 1 really helps you to watch the group grow up and watch them tie bonds and friends.
My favourite character is most definitely Hel. {SPOILER} Hel, as in a person not, the place. The person who rules the place. I think she is prime example of don't judge a book by tis cover or the first time you read it. Obviously she beat Zara up the first time but afterwards she just seems so warming, and helpful. Almost motherly, and if Jones were to write another novel or Novella, I would like to see it based on Hel! {SPOILER END}
The Book over all was beautifully written, with a lyrical prose and exquisite description. The perfect way to end a prefect series. Goodbye Zara, and friends.

What to say... This book utterly blew me away! This was possibly the best book I have read all year so far and I am honestly having trouble keeping the excitement inside of me, writing this review, to stop me from leaping into the air! Words can simply not explain how I feel about this book. It was such a beautiful, gorgeous deadly book! Anna dressed in blood will chill you to the bone but leave you wanting so much more. This book is so exquisite and fantastic that my nose was nested in the pages from start to finish. It gave me a gruesome thrill ride from the start and even as it scared me I couldn't let go. I was up to midnight reading this novel, and then I would pull the covers over my head and go to sleep.
The book follows Cassio a ghost hunter, as he travels to kill a new ghost Anna, but she is way more powerful than any others and he starts to flu in love with her. then she stars to have a her past uncovered and more people get involved and it becomes crazy good to the extent I want to shower it will gold glitter but that would only ruin the spin of the book!
The plot. That gorgeous, gruesome, grilling plot that left you on the tips of your toes till the very end. What to say? The plot is the most developed plot I have read in months and I followed it perfectly. It was easy, to follow and simple to understand. No hidden complications, just the amazing plot laid out in words for you to read. The plot was so complex yet such a pleasure to read. It was the best of the best and you can tell no corners have been cut with this book. Every ounce of effort has been put into this beautiful book. No complaints.
The writing was like the scroll of angel. Like a piece of heaven was sliced up and placed in Blake so she could bless us with her articulate wording. It was one of the most gorgeous, whimsical proses, I have read in such a long time that it made me just lie in bed and go over the words I had read and appreciate them for the pure amazingness they were. The description was almost lyrical and there was just the balance between the storyline, description and dialogue.
All the characters were so well formed, that it led your brainy o believe that these amazing characters had been your brain the whole time and that radiant the book awakened them, which was amazing because it made you feel like they were a part of you, and you exe priced every thing with them, which is what made the book so amazing and visual. Because the characters became your friends. Also they were all so well formed as well. nothing was hidden from you. You knew everything about them and their history except for what was actually meant to be discovered later no in the book.
Over all the book was captivating, intoxicating and beautifully written. It completely fazed me and I was put in a trance from the moment I read it, and unique, one of a kind amazing story playing out in my mind. I am so lost for words with this book that I don't what to say, but I will say one more thing about it: Perfect.

I like books like this because I always feel that a slight breath of fresh air when reading so much of the Genre that I do! They are always short, snappy and really light! Not to heavy or deep, and never have too much of a big plot. Simple, quick easy to follow and most definitely a fantastic read.
As for this one I loved it. I whizzed through in two hours and thoroughly enjoyed. It was sort a mystery, vampiry, love sort of book but doesn't go anywhere near the twilight fiasco. I really enjoyed this one so much and felt like it was a fantastic book.
The plot wasn't hard to follow in the slightest, but it always had you gripped to find out what was happening next. It was fast paced and most definitely thrilling. It's a simple plot but most definitely effective! It keeps your head nuzzled to the pages of the book from the moment you start to read.
The Characters were all really well formed and made, build up from solid ground making them easy to understand and easy to connect to. I always love a book when the characters become your friends and this one definitely did it for me!
As well as that the writing was brilliant. Snappy, sharp and even funny at times. A pleasure to read, is and understatement and I happily welcome any others in the series to my TBR list.
the only thing I could say about is that maybe a tad more description because although I like to let my imagination run free it's always nice to have a nice idea o what is meant to be going on, exactly.
Apart from that I can't fault it! It is a quick, quirky, snappy read that I enjoyed to utmost that kept me enthralled and interested.

I have to admit this didn’t disappoint. I flew through almost as quickly as I flew through the Iron Witch and I thoroughly enjoyed every single second of it. It was fast, quick paced and thrilling, keeping your on the tips of you toes till the very end. I couldn’t pull my head out of this one.

What did I think of this? Now I'm going to be entirely honest and say I'm not quite sure what happened here. The book was brilliant and all and I really loved it but Forsaken topped Forbidden and I was expecting this to do the same. I guess this had a lot going on but I focused more on bonds and relationships and for me the action just wan't there.... The novel was amazing though. If I put into context as a reviewer, avoiding my personal opinion ti was extremely good. It packed a good punch of brilliance filled with suspense, mystery, tension, romance, and load of demon kick ass!
Obviously there is a lot more heaven hell stuff going on and riley is becoming a bigger and bigger character and the importance of her role is growing, and we started to see a lot of change of scenery with Beck gone along with Simon and Peter appearing more. The story is much more focused on Riley figuring out what o do and how her relationships are going to work our but overall is very and and only disappointed in the slightest. The storyline was nice.
As every Jana's writing was fantastic to read. It's one of those types of writing that gives you tingles in you hands the moment the book sets place on your TBR pile. I love the descriptive prose she uses and although the description may not be so much for the surrounding for emotions and feeling it so moving that you feel everything that the characters feel, which lead me on to the next section of the review.
The characters are as every the same, and you feel so close to them, that by now, with the third book you have bonded with them a lot and feel everything they do. I think may allegiance has changed from Riley though, I think my favourite character is now Mortimer. He is definitely awesome in a shy very way that you can't help but liking.
Jana Oliver has mastered the art of twists and turn so much that this is book leaves you on so many cliffhangers with a wave of shock rolling through your body (in a good way). God this book is a thriller.
I really did love this though, and it is a gorgeous read that you thoroughly enjoy!
